I saw that this just got added, and couldn't resist adding my two cents. I enjoyed multiple pours of this from a gravity cask at Cask Republic. Reviewed from memory, but a particularly memorable one.

A: Cloudy orange-amber body with a thin cap of off-white foam. Pretty typical for a dry-hopped cask, as the hop particulates aren't minimized at all. Not exactly beautiful, but definitely promising.

S: Oh, yes. The Citra really kicks the already great Sea Hag aroma up several notches, adding rich tropical and citrus overtones to the herbal and floral notes that characterize the base beer. Amazing.

T: Just as great. The fresh hops in the cask really shine, giving the beer a deeply fresh, vegetal quality as well as rich citrusy, tropical fruitiness. There's just enough malt to keep things balanced, and the finish is completely clean. Terrific.

M: Slick, medium-bodied and lightly carbonated. Nice.

O: Wonderful beer, and a dynamic step up for an already great beer. I think this experiment was a big part of what inspired Fuzzy Baby Ducks, and we all know how that turned out.

Cheers!

Reviewed from notes circa 2011 at Tomato and Basil, Fairfield, CT. This was from a NEBCO night where a bunch of their beers were featured.

This is Sea Hag, dry-hopped with citra hops and served from a cask. It's been around tap takeovers and special events with NEBCO several times, I'm otherwise uncertain of the availability.

Aroma is floral, a bit of citrus - more than regular Sea Hag. Pours cloudy, looks almost like a yellowish orange juice with a very fluffy white head. Taste starts with hop sweetness, the citrus in check with the rest of the hops and a clean, underlying light malt. It is perfectly balanced, very drinkable even as an IPA served around room temperature. The mouthfeel highlights the very clean, light malt texture, with a tiny bit of citrus tang and mild hop bitterness. Absolutely excellent, this is one of the best beers I have had.
