We've been steadily brewing lagers for a while, and this one brings it to the next level. A super crushable pilsner base that we then dry-hopped with Citra and Saaz hops for a citrusy and herbal hop character that works perfectly with the crisp, easy-drinking summertime pilsner. Don't sleep on this one!

A: Pours a relatively clear pale golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint bright yellow + pale yellow + amber colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a couple of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of bready + biscuit + grainy malts with a very light amount of grainy sweetness. Light aromas of floral + citrus/grapefruit + earthy hops. Light aromas of lager yeast.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready + biscuit + grainy malts with a very light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast. Finally there is a very light flavor of floral + citrus/grapefruit + earthy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which slowly fades away leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a hint of dryness and a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a light crisp + refreshing mouthfeel. Enjoyable base pilsner with a light amount of dry hop flavors and aromas. I could easily have a couple of these and they would go down really easily in the hot NC summer.
