Casey, You're on Mute is a New England Style Double IPA inspired by the numerous Zoom calls and always having to remind Casey that he is, in fact, on mute. Brewed and dry hopped with copious amounts of Citra and rounded out with Galaxy hops, this Double IPA is guaranteed to have some nice tropical flavors.

16 fl oz pull-tab courtesy of Vince - thank you!
AROMA: Yogurt. Tang. Passionfruit citrus.
TASTE: Matches the aroma. It's a simple shallow IIPA with zero depth of flavour and little hop pungency...I'm not loving it and it doesn't really commit to its hop varietals or showcase them well at all.
TEXTURE: Smooth, thin, medium-bodied, well carbonated, pulpy, a bit juicy, acidic, unrefreshing, wet.
OVERALL: More mediocrity from 4 Noses. I struggle to imagine who'd buy this regularly over its competition on the oversaturated IIPA category. Trying it after a Weldwerks, Odd13, Odell, or even Cerebral Brewing expression of the same style makes it seem like a bit of a joke. I'd sooner drink Lagunitas' Lagunitas Sucks, and that's like $10 a sixer.

A: The beer is very hazy and somewhat pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a minuscule collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose along with notes of lychee and peaches.
T: The taste is nearly a mirror image to the smell but the flavors of gooseberries are a little more pronounced, especially in the initial taste.
M: It feels medium-bodied and quite juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The hops in this IPA are definitely not muted as it has prominent aromas and flavors of Citra and Galaxy hops.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Canned on 07/02/20.
Pours a very hazy, light whitish-yellow. Small to non-existent head. Passive carbonation. Smell is fruity, rind and pith.
Taste is boozy with very bright fruit juice.
Mouthfeel is medium, a little flat. Overall, I like it.
