Handsome dark brownish red, clear and topped with a tall head in the tall Faust Weizen glass. Inviting mix of sweet spicy aromas. Plenty sudsy in the mouth and a little tangy after the big sugar 'n' spice beginning. Ginger is quite evident and it comes through in the nose.
Malty and rather sweet with a rich mixture of spices. It reminds me of Anchor Christmas Beer with the kinds of spices and the dry finish, but this stuff is stronger and maltier. This is one of the better spiced beers I've tasted. I think the fact that there's no cinnamon overdose makes it more appealing. Not overly jacked up and quite sippable. But definitely a Christmas treat sort of brew. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Grapevine Liquor in Denver.

Look: Red burgundy color with a small head and minimal lacing.
Smell: Smells like spiced cider and lots of winter spices
