Appearance - Pours a pale gold with three fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - citrus and tropical fruits, spicy yeast, and spicy hops.
Taste - citrus and tropical fruits followed by the spicy yeast. The spicy hops are noticeable with a noticeable bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes crisp and dry with a lingering bitterness from the hops.
Overall - A slightly different take on the saison with the hops taking the forefront. I am more used to seeing saisons with a slight haze to them in their appearance. A brew that displays a good hop profile but needs improvement in the yeast and the citrus flavours.

650ml bomber poured into pint glass 25/7/15
A hazy straw yellow with fast bubbles that grow as they reach the large, loose, soapy foam that leaves lots of random soapy lace
S pepper, dry cereal, farmhouse yeast, faint bubblegum, fennel, some citrus, a little floral, plenty going on but could use a little intensity
T very spicy with plenty of yeast, maybe picked up a little lemon rind? lots of cereals, but its missing a little something I can't place
M very light bodied, fluffs up and flattens out fairly fast, fine grit and a strange spicy finish
O decent session saison but a little room for improvement, I can't place some strange spice in the backgroud but its not really a bad thing just odd
I like that they tell you its a "single hop saison" but don't tell you what it is, I have no best guess either. One of those beers that I like but don't love, decent under the hot sun.
