Appearance - Pours a light copper with three fingers of bubbly foamy white head.

Smell - spruce, french spicy yeast, spicy hops, black pepper, clove, citrus (orange, lemon).

Taste - Big punch from the spruce tips to start followed quickly into the saison elements of french spicy yeast, spicy hops, black pepper, and clove. The citrus (orange and lemon) finish the brew off.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes dry with the spruce and saison elements lingering.

Overall - A saison that test the waters with the addition of spruce tips. It was a bold move that could've resulted in the spruce overpowering the traditional saison elements. But, instead, all the flavours are harmonious.
