You'll want to sing about this Scottish Export Ale. Two types of crystal malt and a dash of chocolate malt provide ample bready, biscuity, and caramel character with more subtle flavors of apricot, fruit leather, plum, brown sugar, and cocoa. A classic Scottish yeast finishes clean and keeps the focus on the malt, while English hops add just a touch of earthiness. When you're alone and life is getting you lonely, Ye kin always go, Ach! Doontoon!

From Beer Drop. Canned November 6th 2021. Uh, oh?
It pours a gorgeous clear copper with a finger of off white foam. Good lacing and the foam does shrink to some spotting and a ring around the glass.
Smells of toasted and caramel malt, with hints of fruit and chocolate.
The taste matches the smell with the addition of a mild hop bite. More of a nibble, really.
Good smooth mouthfeel with the carbonation on the lighter side.
Dang, this is delicious.

A: Dark copper with a moderately lived cream colored head. Effervescent.
S: malt and toffee. Very slight hop aroma.
T: toast, caramel and toffee. Balanced towards the sweet end but not sweet. Finishes caramel.
M: medium bodied. No tingle from the bubbles.
O: a solid scottish ale. Possibly one of my new favorite scottish ales.
