Bottle poured into a Sierra Nevada Brewing Co pub glass
A: Pours dark brown, nearly black, with a frothy tan head that settles to a light layer and laces quite beautifully.
S: Roasty, coffee, dark chocolate, and a little char, a bit of pine, earthy herbal notes, a hint of dark fruit, and a touch of toffee sweetness.
T: Roasty malt, light char, coffee, and a hint of dark chocolate, piney, earthy, and herbal notes, a touch of dark fruit, cherry and plum, and a little toffee sweetness.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Very solid straight forward porter.
