Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours faintly hazy golden straw yellow with a frothy off white head that slowly settles to a firm layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Floral, fruity, classic Nelson plus some tropical and stone fruit, a little citrus, a touch grassy, crackery biscuity malt, and light caramel sweetness.
T: Bright, quick hit of citrus, lemon, orange, and grapefruit, followed by Nelson gooseberry and white grape, additional tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, mango, and hints of strawberry, pineapple, and passion fruit, floral, slightly grassy, a touch of resinous pine, crackery biscuity malt, and light caramel sweetness.
M: A touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation, super smooth.
O: Pretty solid example of what's come to be JLB's style; bright, flavorful, crushable. Nelson shows up a bit more than the Strata, but still a really nice beer.
