Can poured into a Bell's Brewery snifter
A: Pours basically black with a frothy khaki head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Roasted malt, char, black coffee, dark bittersweet chocolate, resinous pine, earthy, and a little burnt sugar.
T: Roasty, plenty of char, strong black coffee, big spicy resinous pine, dark bittersweet chocolate, earthy, a hint of smoke, subtle crusty bread, faint hint of dark fruit, and a little burnt sugar sweetness.
M: Full body, moderate carbonation, somewhat creamy.
O: Aggressive, but pretty solid Imperial Coffee Stout. Would love to see what a little time in a barrel would do to it.
