Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery snifter
A: Pours dark brown nearly black with a frothy khaki brown head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Fresh ground coffee, earthy roasted malt, light char, peppery spice, subtle herbal tones, faint bittersweet chocolate, and a touch of burnt sugar.
T: Roasty, bold coffee, a little peppery spice, earthy char, bittersweet chocolate, faint smoke, and a touch of burnt sugar.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly creamy.
O: Pretty solid straight forward coffee stout. Reminds me a lot of their Sexual Chocolate Oatmeal Stout, but with the kick it needed to reach the next level. Would hit the spot on a Saturday morning while throwing some sunrise casts.
