Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery snifter
A: Pours dark brown with a frothy tan head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Earthy roasted malt, light char, bittersweet chocolate, coffee, subtle herbal pine, and a little burnt sugar sweetness.
T: Roasty, earthy, light char, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, a hint of smoke, subtle herbal notes, faint grapefruit, and a little burnt sugar sweetness.
M: Medium body, mild to moderate carbonation, somewhat creamy.
O: Decent as an oatmeal stout, but with a name like that you're expecting richer and with more chocolate.
