On tap at June Lake Brewing
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and laces nicely.
S: Grassy, herbal, a little peppery spice, resinous pine, citrus, light tropical and stone fruit, floral notes, and slightly grainy biscuity bready malt.
T: Resinous pine, zesty citrus, grapefruit, orange, and lemon, slightly dank grassy herbal notes, underlying tropical and stone fruit, mango, apricot, peach, and guava, floral hints, faintly grainy biscuity bready malt, and just a touch of sweetness.
M: Just a touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation. Bright up front with substance on the back end.
O: Damn solid Westy. It's got a little bit of the modern style influence, so it's smooth but still packs plenty of IBUs and darkness.
Happy 10th JLB! Can't believe time has flown by that fast. My forever second home in summer.
