On tap at June Lake Brewing
A: Pours hazy pinkish magenta with frothy pale pink head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little thin lacing.
S: Black raspberry, pleasant lactic tartness, a little underlying tropical and stone fruit, and a touch of crackery malt.
T: Pleasant lemony lactic tartness, black raspberry leads the charge with the guava following and adding some almost peach/apricot notes in addition to its own light tropical vibes, wrapped up with a little crackery malt.
M: A little on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation, faintly creamy.
O: This series always cranks out winners. I wish the guava came through a little more, but I'm not complaining about getting that much black raspberry. Perfect late summer afternoon beer.
