one of the better cream ales i have had in awhile, served on nitro at the brewery. its got a beautiful cascade from the tap, a tall white thick milky head, and a relatively clear pale straw colored body with lots of bubbles rising up. it looks light and rich at the same time, really attractive. the nose and taste are somewhat mild, basic pale barley malt it seems on the base, a slight floral hop later on, and then a colder fermented ale yeast that gives off just a trace of apple and biscuit. as simple as it is, in a lot of ways its everything you want in a cream ale and nothing that you dont. a nice creamy feel from the nitro, that was a good call, and still a pretty active prickly bubbling going on, not that richness then still thing, its still very lively. it has a clean finish, but its not so dry as to be gone before you can appreciate it. the hops might be just a little ahead of the average, but they are still understated and a nice compliment to everything else going on. its drinkable forever too, i could have happily had ten of these, but i wanted to keep exploring the very diverse beer list here. this place was cool, check it out when you are in lincoln!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
