One of the better reds that are still around that I have tasted.

Not a strong taste/aroma like a beer usually has but very a very tasty red here anyways. Lightly fruity. A beer I will definitely drink on a regular basis. Glad I found it.

On tap. Dark pruney copper color with a light head.
Aromas of roasted grains and dark fruits. Does smell a bit like sweet vomit.
Flavor is much the same, sans vomit, a very easy profile with solid flavors. Background of roast and lightly charred malts, but mostly dark barley, root, and earth.
Feel is creamy, medium bodied, lots of carb.
Overall a nice shot at a red. Love these nebraska brews.

Had 1 outside on a cold day between Xmas and New Year's and it fit the mood nicely. Very wet, with a slightly bitter aftertaste and a good aroma. I enjoy red ale, & this will be high in my red ale rotation.
