5's across the board, I know may sound like I'm just skimming here, but Sours are rising! I spoke with the brewer earlier in the fall, and this beer stands out with a spotlight. People will of coarse turn their nose up to Sour Beers, but once you develop a taste for them, they're a real treat. This Flanders Red that Whaler's does is aged with Oak, so it has a fine-wine mouth feel- not too tart, but more thick. The aroma is nice and potent, and although this beer is not in my opinion, one you can pound back pint after pint, a glass of this went great with dinner. Sours are great in 8oz. quantities. Great Job, Whaler's!
