Canned on 5/20/19
Pours a cloudy peach hue topped with a loose few fingers of soapy white foam; okay retention yields a consistent spread of sparse, stringy lacing and a light collar.
Aromas of subtle orange and spicy coriander along with a bready zest are apparent at first, while a building exotic ginger note influences from the background; a wheaty sweetness integrates into the bouquet pretty smoothly.
Taste brings out orange sorbet and a sweaty, wheaty kind of sweetness; ginger unfortunately pops more so as an off flavor than anything else, eventually just watering down by the swallow.
Mouthfeel shows a substantial lighter body and a smooth carbonation integrated with balance; mild wheaty grit and herbaceous bitterness grow in tandem along the palate, adding some depth and a vaguely refreshing character to an already hefty body.
Solid in parts, but there may be too much going on here; I’m finding the ginger did not integrate very well, and when it did it was hardly with any consistency. Drinkable at a basic level, but as an overall product leaves me wanting alot more.

Golden yellow in color. Fairly hazy in appearance. Notes of ginger, orange peel and fennel. Wheat malt profile. Clean finish. Medium to light bodied. It kind of reminded me of a gruit.
