This was a dark golden beer that was very bubbly. Toasty notes accompanied the bitter taste it had. The beer was crisp and medium bodied, I enjoyed it and was an easy beer to drink.

not a fan
Look: pale golden color. not a very big head,
Smell: very plain i could not pick out any noticeable characteristics. Smelled like a natural light.
Taste. Very plain. There was no complexity and didn't find it refreshing or even sessionable. It tasted like a budlight in a different package.

I actually enjoy this beer. It's very easy to drink, yet still pretty flavorful. It had a few notes of hops, but many notes of yeast. Just an all around good beer. Would recommend to consumers.

Of all of the Lucky Girl products, this one is certainly the most normal and easy drinking beer. It has a nice golden color with yeasty aromas.

It has some hints of citrus on the palate but overall a fairly bland beer.

Beer was overall very good. This beer has aromas of lemon, hops, bread, pepper, baking flavors that make the beer smell unique. The overall taste is similar to an IPA but lighter. Beer flavors mix very well together and make for a delicious Pale Lager. I would suggest this beer to people who have not tried it.

In comparison with other Lucky Girl beer's, this was not one of my favorites. The look and smell were alright, but I did not like how it tasted. It was very hoppy and too heavy for my liking.

Pours a hazy golden color. Strong citrus smells in the aroma. Not a very good taste.

Find beer, not the best or worst. Not much flavor and more bitter than fresh.

The Golden Lager is a beer that has a golden look to it. The aroma gives off the smell of citrus, orange. I was not impressed with the taste. To be honest, it tastes nasty. I'm not sure what's wrong with it but there's just something off. Overall i would not get this too often, and the taste needs more work.

Golden Lager is very good overall! The beer is a very bright, clean, golden color. The beer has beautiful aromas such as honey, citrus, and very hoppy. The overall taste is good. There is some defiant honey and malts in the taste, with a slight taste of lemon/citrus. The aftertaste of the very is smooth and delicious. Overall, the beer is very good!

From the 12 oz bottle in a pint glass. This decent little blonde pours a bright and clear golden color
with a modest head of dissipating white foam that settles to a thick ring, light pool, and subtle lacing.
Nose of light honey, light breaded malts, and subtle citrus. Flavors lightly exceed the nose with honey
and breaded malts on the front and middle, a touch of lemon zest and hops slides nicely on the sides
and rear of the taste and finishes clean with a light herbal hop note. Decent mouth feel, mildly carbonated
and good for a session brew. Overall decent without anything sticking out.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 4/1/2015. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, bread, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Nicely clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a nice pale lager style. All around good balance and robustness of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

I picked up a bottle of Lucky Girl's Golden Lager a couple weeks ago for $1.79 at Boyne Country Provisions. It's pretty warm tonight and a lager is sounding pretty good, so lets see how it goes. No visible bottling date. Poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a imperial pint glass.

A- The label looks ok, it's a little cheesy, but it is a little a eye catching. It poured a slightly hazy yellow color that took on more of a golden color when held to the light with two and half fingers of fluffy white head that died down to a thin ring that faded away and it didn't leave any lacing behind. This was an ok looking lager, but i wish it had some lacing and wasn't slightly hazy.

S- The aroma starts off with a slightly lower amount of medium sweetness with the malts being the first to show up and they impart some grainy, bready, biscuit, pale malt and sweet malt like aromas with no single aspect seeming to stick out the most. Up next comes some clean lager yeast that goes into the hops which are very light and they impart a herbal hop aroma that's barely noticeable. The aroma is ok, it seems pretty average for the style.

T- The taste seems to be similar to the aroma, but this time it's a little sweeter with a slightly higher amount of medium sweetness with the malts still being the first to show up and they impart the exact same aspects. Up next comes the clean lager yeast with no noticeable hop flavors. On the finish there's no bitterness with a little bit of sweetness taking it's place and it had grainy and bready aftertaste. This is an Ok tasting lager, but it's a little on the sweet side.

M- Smooth, clean, crisp, on the thicker side of being medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. The mouthfeel is nice and it's what I would expect from the style.

Overall I thought this was an Ok beer and I thought it was a very average example of the style, it was a little rough around the edges and nothing stuck out about it. This beer had ok drinkability, I could drink a couple, but I would start to get bored with it after that. What I like the most about this beer was the mouthfeel, it was nice and I would expect from the style. What I like the least about this beer was the sweetness I think it could be toned down a little. I might buy this beer again if I was in the mood for a Lager and I wouldn't turn one down, I can't say I would recommend it, but if your a big Lager fan it might be worth a try. All in all I didn't love this beer, but I didn't hate it either, it pretty much fell right in the middle. It's not a favorite beer from this brewery and it's average at best for the style. Better luck next time guys, this one could use some work.
