Grapefruit Shandy

This is Seasonal drink. (Love something special) also I like to the smell of grapefruit. Very easy to cover the strong smell of the beer. Also very cute bottle that attract the customer.

I really enjoyed this beer. Of both of the shandy's I tried, this would be my first choice. At first sip, the grapefruit notes are very obvious, my only critique was that it becomes too sweet as you get closer to the end of the bottle.

Of all of the Lucky Girl beers, this one would be my recommendation to someone who is not a huge beer drinker. Similar to other summer flavored shandies, it is easy on the palate.

It has a nice citrus aroma which is continued when you drink it. If i were the brewer I would start switching production towards shandies because clearly that is what he makes well.

With real grapefruit juice in the bottle it barely tastes like a beer.
with low alcohol and good flavor you'll be able to drink this all day long. Staying true to what a shandy is it is something preferable to the summer months and would be great on a beach day, not hoppy at all so if you like that then look to the Lucky Girl IPA.

For anyone who may not like the taste beer or even for those that do... if you like mimosas, this is the beer for you. The beer smells similar to that of an orange cream soda less some of the sweetness. This beer is literally made with grapefruit juice and the citrus flavor is totally present. The beer profile itself is not very strong...very little to no hops. The color is typical of a shandy, as if a beer has been mixed with juice, light with some orangeiness. This beer is so smooth as well. If someone wants to drink beer all day and start with a unique shandy in the morning, this is it.

Different version on lemon, more tart. Overall tart and fresh for summer time.
