Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange yellow color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving some bits of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a sour green apple and peach smell. Mixed with these aromas comes a bit of apricot and some bready aromas. Some light spiced of cinnamon and nutmeg are there as well. With a bit of oat and lemon, an interesting, almost sour peach candy crossed with a peach cobbler like smell is produced overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a, slightly drier tart peach taste that has notes of green apple and some light bready flavors mixed with a bit of milk. Along with these tastes comes some lemon and lime as well as a bit of a cracker malt. As the taste moves forward the tartness gets a bit more intense, all while the light fruit sweetness fades a bit. Toward the end, the pastry and doughy tastes increase, and are joined by some vanilla leaving one with a moderately sour peach taste to linger the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is very light with a higher bubbly carbonation. For the sour and sweet flavors mixed with the low abv. the feel is great for making an easy sipping brew.
Overall – A pretty easy sipping peach sour. A decent brew overall.
