had a few from these guys recently and have enjoyed them, i think this is way underrated, classically styled but well dry hopped, familiar but also distinctive, a nice place to be for a blue collar type ipa, and this worked awfully well with pizza this weekend, not sure where the low scores come from. not quite copper colored but a little darker than is on trend right now, i dont mind the maltiness here as it all presents as very fresh and well balanced, a little hearty sure, but its fall now and it fits the season. frothy white head an inch high and very thick which is awesome, and quite well carbonated, nice looking brew. all centennial hops in here, and i can smell them, white pine lumber, bitter grapefruit, sweet orange zest, and a little bit of a honey thing from the grain, some older school weedy dankness, decent bitter pop but without being green, i think a little more aromatic overall than it is flavorful, but its close. some nutty and biscuity depth to the grain, and yeah it has a sweeter center, but it sets the hops up well, cannabis for sure, grapefruit and orange, fresh cut pine, yellow florals, sawdust in a good way, raw honey, and pretty good bitterness overall, crisper on the back end. sort of frothy and creamy feeling, decent body which i like, handles chili pepper heat well. and really is quite satisfying to drink. way better than its ratings, nice and fresh, lots of malt and hops working nicely together, a nice colder weather type ipa, ive liked what ive had from these guys so far and thanks to my buddy for sharing!

Bomber from Safeway - Pullman. Dark, cloudy amber pour, thin cap of creamy head. Malty aroma, sweet, caramel, pumpernickel. Taste is malty, sweet, tannic, dry. Almost Irish Red territory

Bomber purchased in a bottle shop, poured in to a pint glass.

Pours a pale copper color, clear with a thin white head.

Smell is a bitter wet grain and caramel aroma. Not a lot of fruit scent.

Taste is a lot like the aroma, bit of a sweet bread flavor up front, with a dry bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is light and clean, dry a chalky on the aftertaste.

Overall a nice dry IPA with a sweet bread flavor.
