Delicious. More complex malt flavour and slightly more full-bodied than the standard mainstream Irish dry stouts. Doesn't have the slight sourness that Guinness and Beamish have.

An extra gear of flavor in Guinness land. Although not as creamy

Fantastic Irish dry stout... dark with a great, creamy head. Smells of roastedness, hints of coffee and not much else. Smooth mouthfeel and loads of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, and bitterness.

Classic black stout with a thick, somewhat yellow head. Doesn't appear as smooth as other stouts like Guinness. The head is bubbly and inconsistent.
Smells okay but the taste didn't really do it for me. Much hoppier than classic stouts but in a kind of way that provides a waxy finish rather than satisfaction.
Not a fan. I don't understand how this can compete against Cork's two big name stouts, Beamish and Murphy's, which are far superior.
