330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.7%, IBU 70. Hazy orange colour, large white head. Lovely and strong aroma of pine, spruce, tropical fruits and citrus. The flavour is well hopped as expected, but despite being a double IPA, it has a great balance - it is not an American "we dump in a shitload of hops and crystal malts and see what happens" kind of DIPA. Apparently the brewers knew what they were doing here - the malts are sufficient, but the beer is not too sweet. There is a lot of hop flavour (mainly citrus and pine needles), not only bitterness. Recommended!

Hazy light orange color with white head. Aroma is really dank and piney with resiny hops and bitter orange peel. Taste starts sweet and malty with lots of pine resin and orange peel. Finish is quite bitter and resiny. Medium body and carbonation. Well made west coast style DIPA.

CAN
Hazy amber with a low fizz film of bone. 3.75
Passion fruit, dank, and tinned oranges - dim. 3.75
Hint of pastry, then clementine, nectarine, mashed mango, and some dank hop oil. 4
Medium, sticky, a bit of salt and heat. 4
Simcoe, Mosaic, Amarillo, Galaxy and Equinox
Another N Monk that doesn’t dress for the party - shy looks, faint nose. This, at least, sticks in a few different types of fruit, gets the oil, and finishes scratchy. Still, does this “fruit salad in the sun at a picnic” melange do justice to the All-Star line-up of hops?
This is maybe my 7th NM beer, and they’re (sadly) like so many Brit hipster brewers: solid, but not memorable. 3.75

Can from Real Ale in Twickenham. Dank, juicy, piney stuff with the slightest hint of alcohol sweetness. Smooth and full-bodied with a bitter finish. Lovely stuff.
