The second beer in our Patrons Project series with fell runner Ricky Lightfoot. A sessionable, refreshing IPA to quench your thirst after a day on the fells. Expect citrus and tropical fruits with light caramel malts and a clean, bitter finish. Flavours as bold as it’s namesake.

Can. Almost opaque orange. Very effervescent with extra thick head.
Both fruity and floral hop aroma.
Phenolic. Resin and citrus. Blood orange and grapefruit. Initially demi-sec then a medium bitter finish.
Moderate body.
Quite decent although I prefer some clarity in my beer.

Really hazy golden color with rocky off-white head. Aroma has some grains and citrusy hops, really well balanced. Taste is slightly sweet at first with clean malt and a hint of vanilla, continues with floral, citrusy hops with a light grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium to full bodied with medium, smooth feeling carbonation. A really well made, chewy and tasty IPA with a low ABV.

Pours yellow, slightly hazy, with high, soft head.
Smell is very crisp, with tons of orange and grapefruit, and a smidge of tropical notes.
Taste is again very crisp and citrusy, with a soft bitterness that marries the fruity flavors very well. Ends with a bunch of blood grape.
Body is fairly thin, well carbonated.
This was a terrific "light" IPA. Very drinkable, but with plenty of flavor and depth. Maybe a little bit thin, but that was probably intended.
