Collaboration with Equilibrium.
Meeting the Equilibrium guys at Hop City, our hop forward festival back in March, was one of the highlights of our year (their dancing at the after party will live long in our memory), as was the beer we made together - Infinity Vortex! It was great to welcome Will and Pete back to Leeds in October to get our brew on once again, and if it ain’t broke...
We decided straight away to brew another big double IPA; this time showcasing the brewhouse’s favourite hops in the form of Mosaic and Citra. We then paired that time-honoured duo with the underrated El Dorado variety and the classic citrus and pine notes from Simcoe lurking underneath. Expect a riot of tropical fruit flavours over a classic, smooth New England base packed with wheat and oats.

CAN
Milky straw; dank, yellow melon, + sugared grapefruit; speck of cracker then lemon, hits of weed, muskmelon, underripe papaya; creamy + oily, some burn.
4 4 4 4 4.25
Lean + yellow. The Citra + (faded?) El Dorado more than the Simcoe or Mosaic. Deep + creamy, but feel like EQ is being weighed down by Northern Monk.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
