Copenhagen 14/10 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Usual Northern Monk Powerhouse design this time in a yellow version with a thousand faces.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of fluffy foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly strong, fruity sweet with light citric notes. Sweet exotic fruit. Pineapple, Mango and Peach. Citrus and Grape fruit. Light odor of tart berries.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is pretty thin. Medium sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a lemon twist. Lingers shortly.
Looks and smell quite good - but very much on the thin side.

Pours a hazy yellow with a couple of inches of soapy foam.
Smell is crisp and citrusy with notes of peaches, grapes and hops.
Taste is terrific. Very crisp, hoppy and refreshing with lots of tropical notes, mainly peaches and grapes, along with some gooseberries and a mild bitterness with some hop bite. Extremely easy to drink.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a superb session IPA. At 3.3% I expected this to be mild and bland, but it's packed with flavor.
