Copenhagen 12/10 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Usual Northern Monk Powerhouse design with the logo with the factory and a hop flower. This time in grey, blue and white and with a statue head with a strange hairdo.
Pours murky dark brown with a red hue. Big light beige head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, sweetish, roasted and with an earthy touch. Dark roasted malts, syrup, chocolate, leather, wet earth, brown sugar.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. A bit dry like dark chocolate. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undercurrent. Finish is semi-dry. Light boozy burn.
Powerful Brown ale with spunk. A tad too sweet for my taste buds but well made.

Pours looking like a glass of Coke or Julmust with brown foam.
Smell is malty and slightly sweet with notes of coffee, chocolate, dark bread and ahint of leather.
Taste is sweet with some booziness to it. Notes of maple syrup, coffee, milk chocolate, dark bread and some bitterness creeping in.
Mouthfeel is medium,, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a nice beer, that's just a little bit too boozy.
