Copenhagen 15/4 2020. 44 cl can from Ølkassen webshops. Drawing of Edinburgh skyline with the big castle on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as a thin patch of foam in the center of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense, immensely sweet and candy-like with a earthy touch Sweet milk chocolate, cocoa, peanuts, brown sugar, lactose. Musky odor lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense and heavy sweet. Almost no bitterness. But a light sourness peeling in. Aftertaste is sweet like a candy bar. Lingering.
Pretty light and easy to drink for a pastry beer. Sweet snack - like a chocolate bar.
