440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Opaque yellow colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of tangerine and other citrus fruits, also notes of apricots and tropical fruits. Flavour also of said fruits, but not quite as distinct. Malts and grain in the background. Low bitterness.

Pours pale gold/yellow which is more opaque than hazy as there is clarity n the body; tight white head, ok cap retention, solid ring; thin bands of sticky lacing. Grapefruit and orange nose. Grapefruit on entry with orange right behind; very mild bitterness; firm malt base - very little sweetness; not getting any of the advertised “pine” (Simcoe) or tropical fruit (Mosaic) flavors; hoppy citrus ( Citra and Comet) finish. Medium light body; moderate minus carbonation; feel is light and clean with a little softness (oats addition), but nowhere near full nor fluffy; no warmth from 6.5% abv; no astringency. Overall a tasty, light bodied, easy drinking IPA; no off-putting aromas or flavors from the Mosaic; no earthy nor piney aromas or flavors from the Simcoe; fails to tic boxes for WC and NE IPA styles; more an opaque American style IPA; just a bit of citrus bitterness in the linger; crushable.

This brewer understands how to make an American-style IPA/NEIPA. Citrus notes. Great haze and mouthfeel. Smooth, but very light in flavor. Nicely balanced, though, and still distinctive

440ml can. Hops - Citra, Mosaic, Comet, Simcoe.
L: Hazy, bright yellow with a thin cap that leaves plenty of lacing.
S: Tropical fruit juice with some yeast in the background.
T: Grapefruit, pineapple, lemon pith and some dusty wheat. Bitterness is light.
F: Medium body with a slick and rounded mouthfeel that becomes increasingly dry.
O: Accomplished New England-style DDH IPA from Leeds, England. Not a juice bomb, more on the dry and pithy side of the spectrum. Tastes good but lacks refreshment. More of a sipper (especially at 6.5% ABV!).

Pours pale yellow, some white head. Smells a tad malty, plenty of soft fruityness, quite tropical without the acidity you sometimes get. Nicely soft. Taste is fruity too, mango, hint of pineapple, lightly sweet. Some tea, getting a tad too old I guess.

440ml Can from Morrisons (£3):
Golden yellow & hazy, it's got a white, foamy head that turns to a surface lacing with some lacing on the sides. The nose is fresh & slightly zesty with lemon & floral notes then some pine & hop bitterness at the end. The taste is stronger with more floral & citrus hops with a bit of pine too. It's not overly pronounced but has a medium body & is well carbonated with a dry, semi-bitter finish.
