Pours a semi clear yellow with fine, soapy head and a healthy helping of floaties.
Smell is sweet and jammy with notes of vanilla, strawberies and apricot.
Taste is sweet with a little bit of bitterness. Notes of vanilla, strawberry jam, sponge cake and some orange peel.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a weird beer, but Northern Monk are very good at this kind of pastry pale ale. Probably wouldn't want more than one, though.
