440ml Can from Morrisons (£4):
Pours a thick looking black with a chestnut brown, foamy head that holds very still & well. It's a big nose too with chocolate, brown sugar, earth malts & some bourbon before some vanilla sweetness & coffee notes come through; definitely a complex one. The taste is similar with a creamy chocolate base, lots of molasses & dark malts then some alcohol around the midway point followed by oats, a little coffee & some marzipan too. It's a thick, full-bodied beer with a smooth, creamy feel that has moderate carbonation & a good balance; the warming alcohol finish was expected too & complimented the taste well.
