This beer is inspired by a love of a signature Hopfenweisse out of Bavaria, and an interest in how much overlap there is between this style and New England IPAs. We fermented a wheat-led wort with a classic Bavarian wheat beer strain, and coupled this with modern US hop varieties Sabro, Sultana and Citra. The results marry the classic banana, black pepper and bubblegum esters of weisse yeast with punchy notes of pineapple, satsuma and coconut.

Brewed 19.06.2020. High pressure can, lots of carbonation. Pours hazy pale yellow, with lots of coarse white foam. Smells a bit coconutty. Taste is a ton of weird hops. Bitterish at first, followed by loads of coconut, something floral, hint of white wine
