Copenhagen 4/7 2021. 33 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Brown mountainous landscape on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fermented and fruity odor mingling with roasted coffee. Plums soaked in alcohol and sugar, almond liqueur, vanilla and caramel. Roasted coffee with a spoonful of sugar or two.
Light carbonation. Thick, soft, smooth, creamy and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a boozy burn. Lingering. Finish is sugary.
Powerful and potent. More sweet fermented Plums than Coffee.
