Copenhagen 23/6 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Text rich can with notes from the brewer, a summary of the brewery's Calling and a list of patrons.
Pours unclear amber with a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer with a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, strong, boozy, fruity odor. Orange marmelade with a healthy dose of sugar, honey and sweet sherry.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong, sugary sweetness followed by a modest sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with laden with alcohol. Lingers for a while. Finish is sugary and a little sticky.
A very sweet and liqueur-like Barley wine. If you like it potent, boozy and very sweet this is for you.

This can label is off-the-charts awesome. A peel and reveal with tons of info?! The beer itself is beautiful as well. The Sri Lankan cinnamon and orange zest make this such a delicious, sexy oat wine. Please enjoy!
