came home today having cycled up mount leinster and decided i needed a big imperial stout, and they seldom get bigger than this, this beer is nice despite also being a bit ridiculous, the aroma is quite nutty and malty, some banana there too, the flavour is far sweeter, caramel and vanilla and a lot of banana come through, some spice from the cinnamon, definitely still quite nutty, salty, medium to strong bitterness on the finish, light carbonation, full bodied, some serious alcohol warming, bit of burn, all in all it is a little too much but what’s there is nice enough
