Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a medium, frothy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with vague notes of papaya and orange, as well as some grassy accents. Taste is a good balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, slightly juicy and grassy hops, with tropical and citrus notes of papaya and grapefruit and orange. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some papaya and orange lingering in the aftertaste. Soft'ish mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Once again I'm getting the feeling that their regular range just cannot hold a candle to their Patron's Project series at all. This makes for a very average NEIPA that's just not vibrant in hop aromatics, juicy and soft in mouthfeel enough to stand out, while it feels a little too grassy to me as well. I mean, it's all right really, but it certainly does nothing to wow me. While this could be due to age, this should be less than two months old assuming a 6-months best-by date. It would be fine if this was priced accordingly, just a regular range at a regular price, and maybe it is in the UK, but it certainly seems overpriced at 5€ a can.
