Pours opaque hazy, yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with a sharp, zesty scent of Citrus fruit. Sweet ripe Peach and Apricots. Grapefruit and lemon. Whiff of resin.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick. oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Plenty of reason to be Smug about this.
