Copenhagen 5/3 2025. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. A Fishing Boat in a hard sea on the can together with logos from the involved breweries.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a somewhat stronger earthy scent with a touch of sea salt. Sweet toasted dark malts. Toffee and caramel. Soil and compost. Leather. Sharp alcohol peeking in.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, a bit viscous, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a salty tang. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
Bitter and imperial with a salty touch.
