Look: 3. Pours a dirty light khaki brown colour, mostly opaque, with a thick white head.
Scent: 3. Mostly just hoppy pine notes.
Taste: 3.25. Piney and astringent hops, with mild-moderate bitterness and a light wheaty base. Well balanced but not particularly complex.
Feel: 3.25. Soft with light carbonation
Finish: 3. Short with some hop notes.
Overall: 3. A fairly disappointing brew from Northern Monk, who I know can produce better stuff.
