440ml can.
L: Clear, burnt orange colour with clouds of carbonation and a finger of off-white cream head that leaves a web of lacing.
S: Clean, light and vaguely citrusy.
T: Woody, malty and resinous with some bright citrus notes.
F: Medium body, oily mouthfeel, becomes increasingly dry.
O: The can says “bold new world IPA” but I’d describe this as an approachable, nicely balanced, West Coast IPA that has a bitterness that isn’t confrontational but does build. It’s a blast from the past and I like it.

330ml can from Tesco supermarket (£1.44):
Pale golden & clear, a fluffy white head with nice lacing. Lighter smelling than expected, mainly pine & citrus with background resinous. The taste is quite bitter, pine & grapefruit hops with a lingering aftertaste.

568mL can from online supermarket. BBE 25/02/2026.

Appearance: Slightly hazy golden yellow with a white quickly dissipating head.

Smell: Citrus and pine, rosemary and sage, and light malt.

Taste: Lactic acid sourness, citrus, sweet white bread and malt, moderate hop bitterness and lingering astringency.

Feel: Light, slightly too astringent to be refreshing, with low-moderate carbonation.

Overall: A decent IPA suited to warm weather and casual drinking.

568ml can 1 imperial pint.
Pours amber, with white head. There's piney citrus on the nose. fairly resinous mouthfeel.
Ther is some haze formation when you keep this beer in a fridge - not complaining. Difficult to decide which of the many possible beer hazes it is.
I'm not sure whether this beer contains live yeast - I hope so.
Flavour is good.

Canned in a mighty pinty tallboy and purchased from Sainsbury’s supermarket in Altrincham town centre
Pours a reassuringly clear gold body with neat neat neat white head.
Aroma is resinous pine
Flavour is lime and then that bitterness you get from a unfortunate mouth of hairspray
