Copenhagen 9/2 2026. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Presented as a DIPA with an ABV of 8,0. A very detailed drawing of a lady's face partly overgrown by vines in shades of grey on the can.
Pours opaque hazy, golden and slightly dirty yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a fine, thin, flimsy slyer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe stone fruit mingling with a zesty and searing scent of citrus fruit. A hint of turpentine. Sweet peach ad apricot. Grapefruit and lemon. Sharp citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a little setting touch. Finish is dry and boozy.
A fine lady lurking among the vines.
