New year, new patron and we’re kicking things off with a New Zealand IPA to welcome illustrator and graphic designer Liam Ashurst into the fold.
This juicy first release showcases Nectaron and Waimea for a punchbowl full of pineapple, peach, grapefruit and mandarin. Backed up by the slight pine of Pacific Sunrise to keep things balanced. This beer is an ode to that little hint of the warm sun on a cold, clear winter morning.
Having grown up with the rugged coast lines of North Wales and now living in West Yorkshire, Liam’s work has a strong focus on nature and outdoor-inspired designs. Liam’s clean and bold work focusses on recognisable scenes and landscapes that feel both minimal and packed with character.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, soapy head.
Smell is fruity and juicy with notes of mango, pineapple, melon and citrus with some hints of vanilla.
Taste is crisp, fruity and a bit spicy. Notes of melon, mango, grass and lemongrass with a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice hazy IPA, easy to drink and refeshing.
