Copehagen 14/5 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Blue can with a drawing of an industrial warehouse advertising live music on yellow banners.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam funning along the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of ripe stone fruit mingling with a tart citric scent. Mango and ripe peach. Tangerine. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart edge. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
They might be partying in a warehouse. But the beer is splendid.
