Appearance- The beer was a light golden color with a bubbly white head.
Smell - The nose reflects the style. This is a sour!
Taste - My first impression is sour green apples. The tartness is brisk, but is quickly brushed away by carbonation. Citra hops add a citrus backbone, before the taste fades
Mouthfeel- The beer is rather aggressively carbonated.
Overall - This is a solid sour. I would drink this again.

one heck of an expression of citra hops, a strain i rarely love in isolation, but have really started to dig in the sour beer context. this is a good one too, a bit murky and thick, raw and not quite cleaned up as much as it could be, but a delicious bottle fairly priced. it looks really loaded with sediment, pale but made darker by the residuals, the head is an inch high and pure white. it smells great from a water glass in my hotel room, big bright lemony citra hops, appropriate lactic and citric sourness and acidity, and a fluffy wheaty malt base that is not irrelevant. the hops lead the way on the taste, accentuated by the sourness here, which is somewhat higher than expected, a full bottle of this definitely tore my guts up a little bit, but if i were splitting it two ways it would have been right on. lime notes, bitter vitamins, juicy fruit gum, its pretty vibrant and bright, super fresh. i wonder a little bit if this might clean itself up over time, but i also wonder if the hops might fade. i would assume fresh is best in a beer like this thats so heavily reliant upon the hops. not my favorite sour i have had from these guys, and in need of a little refinement, but this is an awesome beer worthy of any bottle share with yourself...
