Pours a very dark brown, almost black colour. Smels like molasses, sticky tree fruit, bourbon, a bit of smoke, and a little sour. Tastes fruity and sour right away, tree fruits, bourbon and oak barrel, brettanomyces, with a clean finish.

The aroma leads directly into the taste. Cherry, ripe dark fruit, malt vinegar, light roasted flavors including chocolate, oak. More sour and funky than bracingly acidic. Body is a little fuller than most Fair State Sours. Exceedingly complex, making it a little less refreshing but excellent for this Siberian day.
