750 mL bottle. Clear orange body. Small white head that's gone in a flash leaving nothing at all. Smells of oak, light orange citrus, and white wine grapiness. Tastes a little tart. More white wine and oak. Some light orange. Low carbonation, if any. It's very much dominated by the barrel and lacks some dynamism, but it's still very pleasant to drink.

i like this one. definitely a bit funky, very sour, and rinses clean. pretty good summer beer for a warm night.

poured a very pale yellow with a white head. smells of white vinegar, a bit of funk, and some oak wooden notes. taste is all sour - lemon juice with a more mellow aftertaste. very carbonated. clean.

not an everyday sipper, but i would buy in the right circumstances again.

if you have been thinking that anyone can make a wild or partially wild ale these days and have been wondering if they all taste the same and are upset or at least disillusioned about the price points they carry, they look to this one to change your perspective on it all. i mean that. the ironic thing is the name, nobody gives these states, especially minnesota any credit for being beery and awesome, but guess what, it is, and this beer proves it. wildly woody, i mean, more than oak, like fully lumber flavored, but also delicate, dry bubbly, and cooly hoppy. i would have pegged this for being sorachi ace driven, it has a creamy lemon and sprouting dill complexion, but thats me putting what i think i know on a beer that quite frankly cant be pigeon-holed or even defined. still a lot of citrus tough, and some dun grainy notes too, and the wood, oh man the wood, its almost out of this world, so strange and strong and fresh, not even barrel-seeming, instead its new and virgin and fresh but it doesnt seem like oak with the hops, just insane. white pepper and celery and good pot and the hops. this was a 14 dollar bottle at the brewery, but it drinks like it should cost twice that, surprising, really...

Aroma and taste complement one another, with tart lemon, sour vinegar, mild oak, and some corn-like sweetness. Pretty easy drinking Sour overall, but not too complex.
