Bottle. Not much head. Cloudy burnt ruby burnt orange color.

Lots of raspberry. Tart, but not acidic. A little sweetness. Some citrus. Raspberry seeds. Pretty solid.

where the single raspberry roselle was delicate in every way, this one is anything but, an imperial version of sorts with a whole lot more fruit in it and a bit stronger as well. its insanely dense deep reddish in the glass, a lot less pink than its little sister, headier too. looks weighty and thick, and smells intensely fruity. the raspberry seems more like pureed natural fruit than it did in the lighter one, less jammy actually, more fresh berries, especially in the nose, and the hibiscus is way behind the raspberry. there also seems to be a little more developed sourness here. the flavor is fantastic, really, it has intense fresh raspberry all the way through it, a nice tartness to balance the sweetness, and a little more of the hibiscus than i could smell. saison winey yeast on display here too, some neat esters happening, but the heavy raspberry sort of plows over everything after a second. its not as sweet as anticipated for how much fruit is in here, and it doesnt drink heavy or strong, despite the appearance and strength. this is next level stuff, if you like it intense, this is your horse. for a more delicate and refined version, try the straight up raspberry roselle. what a treat to have them side by side in the taproom!
