16oz can plucked from the wealth of dank single pounders at the local swill-shop

First impression: tastes like amped-up Summit© Saga™
This is not a bad thing; neither a great thing
A juicy forest of pine-hop hybrid trees boiled down into a thickly viscous gummy gelatinous muck

08/09/21 - On tap at Central Standard Craft Burgers & Beer in Bettendorf, IA. 13 oz. draft served in a snifter. Paired well with a Ghosted Habanero Burger and sweet potato fries. Very tropical, drinkable, refreshing. Juicy, hazy, low bitterness.

16oz can poured into a 16oz pint glass. Regular pour.
L: Pours a cloudy orange gold with a thick white 1" pillowy head with very good retention. Some heavy lacing.
S: Pineapple, orange, wild flowers. Simple.
T: Pineapple, whipped tangerine, juicy ripe sweet lemon, mango, grapefruit, berries, citrus pith, very light bread. It is lightly sweet. There is a delightful lingering bittersweet passionfruit taste at the finish. Very vibrant flavors.
F: VERY soft, smooth, fresh and juicy with a medium mouthfeel. It is not tangy. Soft, smooth yet it has an exciting mouthfeel.
O: An incredible citrus hop forward ale offering from Fair State! More tropical than expected and at 6.6%ABV it has excellent drinkability. A high-tech hazy IPA made with cryo hop blend. Luscious flavors.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $4.90. Canned on 4/28/21, making this just over 2 months old. Actual consumption date was 7/1/2021, this review was initially posted under the wrong beer name.

Look: Very hazy, nice golden yellow grapefruit juice color. Nice thick, pillowy white head that has reduced a bit but shows signs of nice lacing.

Smell: A lot of grassy, dank, and sharp oniony notes up front. Then there is a lot of grapefruit zest, pith, and pulp. On the back end, I get this very perfumy note that is very interesting and pleasant. As this opens up and warms up more, I am getting other fruits on the nose like pineapple and passionfruit, perhaps a bit of guava. Doesn't smell like it will be particularly bitter but it does give me the idea that it is going to be juicy. Nice nose.

Taste: Delicious. Up front, it's super juicy with tons of grapefruit notes. It's very hoppy but not very bitter; it's super citrusy, with some added floral aromatics. The finish is very pithy and moderately dry. Very quaffable.

Feel: The mouthfeel is light to medium-bodied. Has a nice softness to it, and it's still chuggable.

Overall: This is my kind of beer. I was very thirst and this is quenching my thirst very nicely. The ABV is not too high, it's juicy and not too sweet, and it's very drinkable. Reminds me a lot of Peak Organic's The Juice Hazy Pale Ale, which I am also a big fan of.

Was expecting a bit more here. Poured from a can dated about 1.5 months old. Pours a nice bright pale murky yellow color with good head and lacing. Decent pineapple and citrus smell and taste. No outstanding flavor. A bit on the boring side for this style.

This seems like a hot day beer. The citrusy flavor would be great midsummer when you are sweating in the back yard. The smell and flavor both seem light to me, but it does have a crispness that would be refreshing.
