Czech-style pale lager collaboration with Bierstadt Lagerhaus (Denver, CO), makers of the famed “Slow Pour” Pils. Soft, malty, and crisp, this is a “10 degree” Czech-style decoction-mashed pale lager, brewed entirely with Czech-grown ingredients. “Side Pull” refers to the iconic Czech-style beer faucet that produces an especially velvety, tight bubble foam. Best served with as much jiggly foam as you can muster. Live life above the rim.

Somewhat murky yellow body with a fat finger of white foam, sporadic lacing. Smells of grassy hops with bready yeast, dough, and lemon. Taste features pale hops with strong lemon, leaf, and grass tones, bright malt with bready yeast balance. Higher carb with clean delivery. This is very good though not super complex it makes up for it in purity and potency

16oz canned 6-12-25, opened 8-17-25.
1/2 finger white head with very good retention. Golden body with a touch of haze (chill or unfiltered?). Thick, sticky lacing.
Expressive nose of clay, sulfur, spicy hops.
Crackery malt, grassy, spicy, herbal hops with a little touch of lemon. Nice punch of bitterness, more than expected.
Light body, medium carbonation, lean mouthfeel with some drying in the finish.
Very Good to Outstanding.

Canned 3/22/24. Drank 6/30/24.
Pour is a crystal clear, straw yellow with a big chalk white head'; large bubbles, fades to a slight cap.
Nose is bready, doughy, grain, lightly corn
Taste follows. Smooth, crisp bready, dough, balanced nicely with subtle spicy noble hop character.

From a 16oz can:
Appearance: Clear pale yellow, good head.
Smell: Hay, grassy.
Taste: Mild bread, then grassy, with more bread on the finish. Light and crisp.
Overall: Very nice easy drinking beer. Nice grassy hop flavor without going too far. A tasty treat that's a step up from your everyday lagers.

16 fl oz pull-tab can:
Crisp and clean drinking, emphasizing pilsner malt and faint grassy hops without coming off too loud or overhopped like most American attempts at the style.
It's no Slow Pour Pils for my money, but it's competent. Still, it doesn't hold a candle to the best Czech brewed expressions of the style, and it costs far more than those do...

16oz can stamped STPSIP6 B: JUN/23/23 poured into a mug at fridge temp 4.1% ABV. The beer pours hefe-hazy very light golden amber with off white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and partial layer of bubbles. The aroma is faint with pale malt and light floral or lemony hops. The taste is semisweet pale malt with a herbal, floral & lemon slightly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with above average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, very good.
